Hi and welcome to my career pages!

The purpose of this section is to provide some insight into my skills and experience.  I'd love the opportunity to use these to add value to your company.

The pages include a summary, which gives information at a high level.  My published CV occupies one web page and a copy in MS Word 2003 format can be downloaded from either here or from that page.  Although have been a manager for much of my career, I have a strong technical background and remain competent in all of the skills listed to varying degrees.  Details of some of my teams, projects and systems are included to provide examples of the work I have been doing.  I have also included interests, where I believe they may be relevant in respect of my broader skills and my personality.

My ideal role would be one that involves challenge, of course, but an element of trouble-shooting would be great and international travel would definitely be a plus.  Given the breadth and depth of my skills, the charge could just as easily be around either IT or business consulting.

The preferred role (contract only) is as a Programme Director or Manager, Project Director or Manager, or other senior project management role.  If the programme/project is in trouble, then the role needs to come with the authority to take decisions and correct issues.  Interesting/challenging role as I thrive on putting bad programmes/projects back on track.  I am currently based in Wellington, but am interested in opportunities in any other country if the role was interesting or the country was a bit exotic.  The role would be rewarded appropriately.
